 Best place to get minnows around Lake Lavon?

Man the price of minnows sure has gone up since I last fished. Does anyone know of a good place to get minnows cheap?

There's a minnow wholesaler near Point Blank on 190. He sells them by the pound. Oakhurst I think, just east.

I used to live on Lake Livingston years ago but now I'm near Dallas. Thanks for posting about this maybe it will help someone else locate the minnows in that area.

I can't say they're the best, but you can try Appletree Food Mart in Princeton on 380. It's a Valero gas station across from Princeton HS.

Yea they charge 3 dollars per dozen. Not sure if that's is the usual going rate. There was another gas station there in Princeton down 982 that sells them and they charge 3.29 a dozen.

Yea we used to buy them right at triple creek marina when my dad lived there and I think they were only 1.50 a dozen but this was probably 15-20 yrs ago.
