I have just acquired 2 HB 899's and I want to "network" them. Anyone know what cable I need to do be able to do this?

Here is a chart from Humminbird. The number in each is the length. You will also need two of the adapter cables to connect the cable. (AS EC QDE Ethernet Adapter Cable http://www.humminbird.com/uploadedFiles/Content/Category/Support/FAQ/NetworkingChart.pdfIf you ask on General Equipment Discussion you will get a lot more help!! Some real gurus on there.

One Ethernet adapter cable of proper length and two adapter cables as mentioned above and you all set

If you need the Ethernet cable I have an extra 20 footer new in the box for $50. They will run $65 or more most places. Can meet W Plano/Frisco/121 if interested.
