The Family and I are headed to Lake Bastrop this weekend for the first part of spring break. I have never fished there before so any tips or advice for this time of year would be great. I have a boat and two young boys that I would like to get on a few fish if at all possible.

I was there last week and did really well fishing with spinner baits over the grass and the edges of the grass with soft plastics.

will be there this weekend also
have a great knowledge of fayette --but not a lot on bastrop -- hope to gain some !
