I wish they would enforce the "no fishing the day of the tournament" rule for that event. It's hard to pay the money to go out there and fish when you know 100% that there are a few guys out there breaking that rule and fishing the tournament.

I've never heard of anyone doing that.... but I'm sure every working mans tournament has that problem.
Send it!

I personally saw it and brought it up to Larry a long time ago. He said there want much he could do about it unless he saw it with his own eyes. The guys I saw fishing that day finished 2nd and 3rd. I was on the water checking some live well / bilge work that I had done. You could be on the water back then but not fishing. The guys I saw were fishing.

Next time ....watch them with binoculars. See if they are stashing fish.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

I haven't heard anything about a Monday night tournament going on or starting anytime soon.
As far as anyone fishing before the tournament, I live by the lake and monitor it before fishing hours. I also speak with people who run the ramps, and they know the guys that fish regularly and keep an eye on that. In addition, we do polygraphs every year. However, if you see anyone that's breaking any kind of rules please bring it to my attention and I'll be happy to address it.
Hope to see y'all March 16th for the opener!
