There is suppose to be a couple hour break in the rain this afternoon, would it be worth going of the creek is running fast? Not rc just creeks in general. I doubt it. I've never caught much during rain or even hours after. Seems like it spooks the fish a little and they need awhile to adjust. Now just hours before rain and if it's just barely started sprinkling ahead of real rain, is a totally different story. Seems like every fish is biting all they can to get food before going dormant. Edit: except catfish, they don't seem to care too much about anything and will always bite anytime.

I don't think the fishing will be all that good until next week. I wouldn't bother but that's just me.

So does that mean the waterline on the banks is actually 8ft higher than it was, or is that like a median spread and it's probably only rose a total of 3-4 ft?

Under Pleasant Valley by the gun range. There was only a 1 ft waterdrop under here Sunday. Northwest of Pleasant Valley overpass. There are 2 sandbars underneith there somewhere that we were standing on. Big sandbars, like 15 ft x 30 ft long...

Ok, I was thinking about trying the creek tomorrow or Thursday. I've NEVER had any luck ever on RC. I've been reading quite a bit about the lures to use (blue fox, roadrunners, swim baits, etc), but I'm not sure where I should try to fish. I've seen places like pleasant valley mentioned, is that the best place to try. I really want to get out there with you guys. Tips??
I'm the player to be named later.
