Went yesterday from about 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. Water temp was 61-63 degrees, stained in the backs of creeks. Caught probably about 30 with about 12 keepers. Most fish came from staging areas again 8-12 ft on brush piles. We did however catch a few up on the bank 6-18 inches in sticks and brush, and the ones we did catch up there were all keepers. Most of the better fish were caught on jigs. Numbers were on minnows with a slip cork.
So long story short, there are some shallow fish to be caught, but you have to work for them. The majority of fish have not moved up on the banks just yet. I'm not sure what this weather will do to them, depends on the amount of rain we get I guess. I'm still anticipating a big push of fish very soon.

can you post some pics, are they stout, and healthy?
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Pretty much just standard Belton crappie. No giants and we didn't have that many so I didn't take pictures. I'll try and get some next time.

Fly tier (yeah, I can fly fish...but the fish don't like frothy water!)
