I always wear long pants and sleeves when fishing the creek. I learned that lesson the hard way.

It doesn't especially bother me because I don't scratch it. But ultimately, I have to go to the doctor and get steroids for it to go away. I can have it weeks and it won't spread, but it won't go away either on it's own.

I am super allergic to poison ivy and have got it like 15 times ever year from fishing the creek. It really sucks and can't find a way to keep me from getting it. It is definitely out there and watch out for it bc it is not fun to get it.

Thanks Terek!

Um guys...looks like they might close Lavon dam for the rain. It's only pumping 393 cfs right now and was pumping almost 1600 yesterday. If they close the dam, RC will be on FIRE! banana breakdance bannana2 food

It's raining hard now! If any going today, be careful! Flash flood might happen with this rain.

depends on how much we get and when it finally quits. Usually 2-3 days after the rain quits is a good estimate for when it will be fishable.

There is suppose to be a couple hour break in the rain this afternoon, would it be worth going of the creek is running fast? Not rc just creeks in general.

The damage has been done from the gauges I was looking at. Creeks should be running high already.
