This morning on my way to "work", Ernest Paty calls me and tells me he just caught the biggest crappie he's ever caught on Lewisville. So I say great....send me a picture. Well, here it is folks, all 17" and 3.1# of it. Congratulations Ernest, that's a toad that Bill Muntz should be mounting.

WTG Ernest!!! I am a big fan!  One thing I can tell you for sure, is that he has so many waypoints, you would never be able to find that spot UNLESS he told you where it was. Further, given his mastery of a wide assortment of crappie fishing techniques, even if he did give you the exact location, you would just be lucky to catch one that size!  It is FITTING that Ernest caught that fish, as I feel he knows that lake as well as anyone. Plus, he is dedicated to furthering the knowledge, but it helps if you are in the boat watching him!   Mr. Skinner, thanks for posting the picture! I have two questions for you...Did he catch it using "The Guy" and did he "challenge" you to beat that?
