Right now i would look them up against the shoreline reeds , rocks areas with warmer weather they should be pretty shallow and feeding . Last week i found them in 15ft of water pretty thick around the docks and rocky areas.

Right now I am catching nice Bluegill holding next to docks in about 8 to 10 feet of water. Late Spring all the way up until late fall you can usually find em around overhanging tree limbs and brush piles close to the bank. Dock slips also hold some nice fish.

During the season late March till late October I catch most of my sunfish in 3 to 8 feet of water holding under overhanging tree limbs or inside dock slips. As for creek fishing you can find them just about at every brush pile or shallow drop off.

Do you guys use jigs more or maybe sink crickets that deep under water? Never targeted bluegill at more than about 5 feet deep.
