The San Angelo Bass Busters will be hosting a open big bass on April 2nd. Entry fee is $80, and payouts are bi-hourly and 3 overall places paid for the day. The hours are from 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. Also, there is a junior division (16 and under) that can fish for FREE! Gift cards will be awarded to field and streams for junior contestants. Prize money is guaranteed and a portion of the proceeds will benefit rust street ministries in San Angelo.

Payouts for the bi-hourly are:

1st - $225 2nd - $175 3rd - $75

6:00a.m. - 8:00a.m.
8:01a.m. - 10:00a.m.
10:01a.m. - 12:00p.m.
12:01p.m. - 2:00p.m.

Overall payouts for the day:

1st: $1000
2nd: $600
3rd: $400

Forgot to add that registration will be April 1st from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and April 2nd from 5 a.m. - 7 a.m. at elm creek marina. We will be set up right by the door when you where you walk into the store.

The fish were biting pretty dang good Saturday out there, and the ramp is not that bad yet!! Hope to see lots of folks there. This is benefiting a really great cause.
