 FORKED um Round 2!

The fish are moving up in droves. The wife had one of the biggest crappie I've ever seen on. It got to the boat and shook the hook as I was trying to grab it. I swear it was a 3#+ fish. That fish was the only fish we had bite deep and it was around 8ft on a minnow. This rain probably won't help. Didbt get to fish as long as I wanted. And We spent a valuable 1hr+ looking deep. Moved shallow and it was on. Fished from 10-2. Caught about 13crappie Few throwbacks, and 3 bass. All fish caught in 2-4' 80% on Bobby Garland baby shad in Cht. Wht.

Pretty fish! I've been catching big males shallow also! Their tails are not showing any signs of nest building yet Nice haul  I'm going tomorrow as I'm afraid the rain might back them out for a bit

rookie question, what do the tails normally look like when building beds? The fins of the tails will be cracked, separated from the tip back towards the body, worn off & red and even bloody on the bottom Look at the picture of the fish above and you can see that some are starting to get splits between the actual fins.
