Can a Thru Hull Transducer be used for aluminum boats? I know they can w/ glass, but not sure about aluminum. Any help would be great. Looking at a new Xpress, and want to upgrade the FF.
Thanks,

Are you asking about Shoot Thru (Epoxied In) or a true Thru Hull transducer where a hole is drilled through the bottom of the boat to mount transducer? A True Thru Hole should work fine. THe Shoot Trhu or Epoxied trnasducers do not work shooting thru aluminum.

Thanks Doug. Sorry, I was talking about the epoxied transducers. Thanks for the info.
