My first kayak was a Field and Stream Eagle Talon. I've had it for years and have enjoyed it. It is a very good kayak for the price. They now are selling the Shadow Caster for 799.00 at Dick's. Does anyone have any info, pros or cons on this yak. It seems to be a much more refined fishing machine than my old one.

I don't have one but I've looked at them and done some informal research. Apparently they are made by Joy Sports; The same company that makes Vibe and Feel Free kayaks. You can see the similarities, especially in the hull design and the molded handles at the bow and stern. The Shadow Caster lacks the wheel in the keel. They seem well made and feature filled. The only thing I didn't see on the webpage was the width. I reckon it is around 33 or 34 inches wide. There are a few videos on YouTube, none of which are very helpful or informative. I would probably take the Shadow Caster over the Ascend FS128T, and no, I am not an Ascend hater (I currently own an H12 and really like it.)
