Going to Bardwell to barter my fire extinguisher service to fish the High View Marina. After all these years of living close I have never been because of our lake house @ Whitney. It seems like a really nice marina , and looking at their Facebook page it seems they are catching a lot crappie.

Best thing to do is give em a call...Chad and Misti are great owners and will tell you straight up how the bite is! Huge crappie jig selection as well
Katchin krappie...doin surgeries(filleting)...and givin hott grease baths until krunchy and golden brown is what it's all about!!!

What a nice place to fish. Been way to long after putting up with the BS from Juniper Cove on Whitney. Friendly owners , a store that is packed full of fishing supplies , food and drinks. And all the people there fishing were all friendly. We will be back for sure. Caught one really nice one. I think the water is still to cold. The owner told me he bought the old Lakeside docks from Whitney and slips and is getting ready to put them in. Hope only the best for them. This is how you run a marina , not the way Juniper Cove does by chasing people of that fish !!!!

 CPO Bardwell is a good lake that many people look over, but thats ok for us that love it.

went sat. no slabs, found fish on brush piles but they had lock jay jigs minnows they werent buying what we were selling! water temp 56.5.
