Do you guys really keep all these fish? No wonder there is none remaining when I go.
Wish I had more time to fish but have to take it when I can.
FishofLegend.........were you hitting the crappie north of the log jam?

For 1/32 oz jig, I waited for about 10 seconds, more or less, and start jigging. I was hitting the crappie way South of the log jam. In fact, it was the Springfield Park.
Wind from the north, fisherman does not go forth. Wind from the south, blows the bait in the fish's mouth. Wind from the east, the fish bite least. Wind from the west, the fish bite best.. __________________________________

Killed the hybrids today. They're in there. Go find them uhmm, those are undersized sandbass... you may want to check the Texas fishing regulations.... Thanks.. Some were 17 3/4in so i stepped on them to make them stretch out to 18in. So Im good now I just pack this for those 17 3/4 fish.

My buddy Kingfisher17 and I got out there this morning and had a good day. Couple of nice hybrids and 2 that got off at the bank. Huge sandies and a couple of crappie as lagniappe. Fishing is very good my fellow fisherman. Get it in before the rain starts Sunday. Be safe and have a great weekend.
A bad day of fishing beats a good day at work anyday!!!

Had 4 guys show up for the noon crew cleanup! Nice starting turnout for short notice...Hopefully we can double or even triple that for the 6pm cleaning crew! Much progress is being made with big help from KungFuJimmy and Mr Dang! Also, thanks for the two other gentlemen that showed up to help! Another crew forming at 6pm... Theres a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot. Steven Wright

Very nice stringer. Looks like the hybrids are starting early this year. I typically start 4 lb line this early in the season. Looks like I will have to up size my gear early this year.

I went with 4lb test to start but I had 2 other hybrids break off on wendsday so I have gone to 6lb and 8 lb. Always fun fishing with you Redd man.
