Is angler's lodge still making breakfast burritos? I called the number from the website but it is disconnected. If not, where do y'all get breakfast near the lake if you don't make it yourself?

Anglers has been closed for some time. Lakeview has breakfast. There was also another place on the south side of the highway going back towards Del Rio where Karlen's used to be that had good breakfast but I haven't paid any attention to see if they are still open.

Anglers lodge griddle was the only good food in that town.

Man sounds like the town around the lake is shutting down! Wheres the best place to stay that has good parking with the boat?

Amistad resort, not much of the resort type is where we usually stay but here lately it's a cluster. Room bookings have been a mess, rooms haven't been that well kept. Had three rooms on the back side last August and all of them flooded during a rain shower and we had to clean them up ourselves. The restaurant wasn't all that bad but is now closed, Byron has a mess going on down there IMO, hopefully things will change.

Not much out there anymore. Amistad resort kitchen closed. Dinks ok if you want to suck smoke while eating. Get Taco's to go. Like Fishhunter 59 says burger shack across park service is decent. Other than that IHOP or Stripes in town.
