And now I know why I haven't seen anyone down here. Don't laugh at me!  I'm new to fishing Rowlett creek too , so what did you do go in the wrong direction? I want to try to paddle down the creek with my fishfinder to map the depth . If I manage to do so I will upload it to the Insight Genasis site for all to view. Just not many places off the bank that are clear enough to fish down that way. Need room to cast that line and preferably not from 20 ft above the water.

I walked at least 4 miles from the preserve to firewheel, then all the way to Miller and back to the preserve.
Watch for the mud. I slipped and nearly slid off a 15 foot cliff into the water. My phone fell out of my pocket and nearly took a dip.
Wear cleats, I didn't.

You parked at Greenbelt and fished east side of Miller Bridge.
Between you and KFJ there might not be any fish left soon.

Miller was just as packed. lot full, street full, folks parking beyond the pavement.
poor fish are being bombarded....
Then you have KFJ and Mr Dang taking them all........

I mean, Rowlett Creek is what it is. I'm fine with that, and we have a public thread about it every year, so it's not going to be solo fishing. I just hate seeing people come all the way out here from places like Denton when they've got better creeks in their back yards if they'd just look. I don't mind sharing.

heavylead brother!! i been live next by the rc 27 years.i got feeling with it!!!every years the fish come up to visit rowlett resident .we supposed take care them!!! welcome the other angler come by and make rowlett had a creek for fishing to little famous in dallas.ha.ha...but one thing have to said [PLEASE MAKE LESS TRASH}
