 Lake Somerville ON FIRE!

Me and a couple buddies hit the lake after class and it did not disappoint. Between the 3 of us, we landed about 20ish in the afternoon. All caught on a Gary Yamamoto Green Pumpkin Black Flake with a bullet weight on a carolina rig. Fishing was hot in the 3-7 ft range in the sticks right off the bank. Beautiful sunny day, no wind or a cloud in the sky on Somerville

Nice catch, I have never fished there but was thinking about going. Is the open lake safe to run in? Are there hazards I need to look out for?

Nice catch, I have never fished there but was thinking about going. Is the open lake safe to run in? Are there hazards I need to look out for? Yup it's safe from what I saw, there wasn't much of any timber where we were fishing at

Went today and it was awesome! Very healthy bass right now to be had. Somerville is in the best shape it has been in a while.
