Went out this morning. Met MrNovice (Doug) good guy. Was a very nice day today. Caught 13 Keepers and landed 2 big fat females  Kung Fu Jimmy out there too!

Wow Heavy, those are some nice fish!! Can't wait to get out there and try. What were you using as bait? Tried several lures until I settled on a small road runner type lure with the dangling spinner. They liked that one today.

rowlett creek can be dangerous for grownups.. especially after rain. steep banks. pv gets u near the water. hopefully they migrate up. watch for skeet ha

rapala a good lure $$. ive caught most over the years on 1/8 chartreuse or white roostertail. fins fish or tiny fluke also. all u need .

about 50 yards south of firewheel bridge Is that by the big sandbar on the east side? I fish there but didn't know it was Hellhole. Caught a big 2ft catfish from that sandbar 2 weeks ago.

I'm curious cause its been a while and last year the water was really low. How hard would it be to put a kayak in at the bike park? Anyone been down there? I'm not interested in putting in at Miller unless I have to
