Nothing casts or catches bass like a genuine Yamamoto Senko.....as far a stick baits go.

That said, sometimes the Grand Bass Air Tail or Snake-O are the way to go. The Grand Bass doesn't cast as well though.

You're the second man I've ever heard call Mr. Gary "Yakamoto". Do you own a badarse private lake?

Stick to the basics. 5". Green pumpkin/blk flk, watermelon/red, blk/blu flk, blk neon and junebug. And chartreuse/pepper.

What is that black neon that you speak of, it does not catch fish! Supposed to be a secret bait.

Original senkos get far more bites for me, but yum dingers and tiki sticks will get the job done

The reason Yamamoto's are the best is BECAUSE they are so fragile. That softness allows the shimmy on the fall. That's the real money making characteristic of that bait. It does suck using soft baits that are almost $1 each and last one bite. . .but for me it's worth it. Yamamoto Senkos get bit more.

I figured I could share this since the senkos don't last long and I am not rich, this is what I use. And it works great can usually catch a couple extra fish on them after being glued! Trust me this stuff really holds! Figured it might help someone out!

I pour my own. Great action and a color/fleck combo Yamamoto quit making a few years ago.

Boby at Whopper baits pours a stick that has the exact fall rate of a Yamamoto. Go check out his video. He's a good egg and pours great baits.

Yeah, and Gary was real impressed when said private lake owner called him with a "new bait design"
