On trackertim pic. How is there shadows in this pic? I dont understand. Or am I missing something here The shadows mean that the object in the picture has some height to it, it it a tire and not just a flat circle on the bottom of the lake. What you see would be like if you are standing on a tall ladder looking down and on bottom there is light shining both left and right so everything that has some height to it will cast a shadow. When you see a creek dropping off on the Down Image it will begin to get dark also because it is getting deeper. Sonar doesnt get a reading from behind objects, so you see a black shadow. You see the same on a stump or fish.

 Slade tuned this old 597.....you can get a good image without spending 3k .... But he is a wizard....he's a good dude too

I should let him discuss his price & what he does,,,,, I think it is well worth the money spent.
but he is booked up until late March.
