...I was trying to buy platinum or something! I am wanting to replace my 1965 Mcculloch 7.5hp outboard, as it has become worn out, unreliable, and generally a pain to keep running. The price of new small motors is absolutely ridiculous. No wonder people are buying Chinese copies, but. even they are outrageous, not to mention not trustworthy as far as quality. Sorry, this was more of a rant than useful info.
