Anyone ever fish a pond off 820 between Haltom rd and Denton hwy? google maps shows it behind the First Baptist Church?
Close to Fossil Creek.

Yes, I lived 5 minutes from it. In the 80's I rode my bike there catching cats. I have released several blues, channels, crappies, and largemouths the past years in that pond. I fished there catching cats. Didn't have luck with scale fish. Saw some people caught big catfish. Lots of small mud cats. But there are some largemouths caught by people I've witnessed.
