I'm headed to Twak for spring break with my family. Anyone willing to give a panhandle boy some pointers on where to go? I was there four years ago and got skunked. I'd love to see my 8 and 4 yr old girls hook into a big pig! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

At that time fish will be full swing shallow wind blown points. As much water as we have, who knows which direction they will go but to be safe...any mid lake main point with wind blowing into it. Try 4-10ft of water with fresh cut shad.

The more water blowing into the point the better.

Plenty of channels here... In late April or early May they are easy shallow Chum with range cubes
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

try chunk of chicken breast for bait, fish it a foot or two off bottom by putting a float on the line near the hook. killer on blue cats!
