My Son Mark purchased his first boat. A 24' Blazer Bay with a 250hp 4-stroke Yamaha. He got a great deal from Blackbeard Marine and picked it up on Valentines Day. We took it out yesterday to Lake Lavon and had a great day fishing for the blue cat. The boat was awesome. Netted some threadfin early. Actually had some rain while netting bait.
Didn't see any boats at daylight. Drifted most of the day. Most fish in 30-35ft. Northeast and northwest wind during the day. Water temp was 49-52. Took home 18 box fish for the freezer. Released two teens and two over twenty. A good day fishing. A good day to be with my son to christen his new boat. I should have mashed a few shad in the floor. I just spilled a little coffee. Can't even see slime in these boats. Thumbs up again to Blackbeard Marine for great service!

We launched at Little Ridge before dawn. LOL Didn't know the dock was gone until I parked the truck and started down the walkway. Boards were missing and no dock. Not a big problem. We got it done though. Hope they bring the dock back!!! Oh and street light was out in parking light. That didn't help either.
