 Venice Tuna,....What is the best time of year to go??

I'm interested in booking a tuna trip over in Venice. What is the best time of year to go??
Every year we go to Venice to fish for reds and specs. On a couple occasions, offshore fishing groups were staying at our lodge. These folks brought back a lot of tuna and some great stories.
Any info would be appreciated.

Now is a good time to go for tuna that average 50 to 150 pounds.The next best time is when shrimp season begins.The two largest tuna were caught behind shrimpboats. look up capt. eddie burger for a great fishing experience.
