Mounted and checked out my new Helix 7 this weekend. I put the sun directly at my back, put on my shades and I have to say that I was totally impressed with the view. I was amazingly clear and bright. I was impressed with the amount of viewing area for a 7. The only draw back is the clock is 1 hour off and can not be adjusted. The manual says it can but that is not true. If anyone is looking to change out or upgrade and price is a consideration, you flat out can not go wrong with this unit.

You choose the Local Time Zone and then either turn ON Daylight Savings time or turn it OFF.
To get those settings you set the User Mode to ADVANCED?
Have you read the manual?

Yes. It is adjustable. I have two with GPS and both display correctly after adjusting the settings.

I had the same problem with my Helix 7. Put the USER MODE on Advanced and you will see the time change bar.
Send it!

I have the Helix 5 at my console and want to replace it with the Helix 7 and move the 5 to the bow for this exact reason.
