Haven't fished benbrook in over twenty years. And I have never fished it this time of year. Any suggestions?

I'm having fairly good luck with LARGE crankbaits (22-25') on the flats between Holiday Park and Mustang Park. Crappie are starting up in brush and trees. Using white jigs for that. Looking forward to White Bass spawn in a few weeks too. Action up in the creeks should improve around mid-late March.

Shaky head and craw works well. Try bamabug craw papi by yum. Anglers pro had some last time I checked. They don't catch quantity but they get quality bass
