Picked up 100- #150 Brass Swivel's from Catfish Connection. I thought I got the Black ones but mis-ordered.
Would you trust these Bank fishing?

Just heard that Brass wasn't as Good as black, like it's not constructed the same.

I use Spro swivels. More expensive, but never have to worry about them failing.

I guess this would be ones preference, however I have always used brass and have caught a lot of fish and never had 1 break at the swivel.

How would you tell the difference without an equipment failure?

Depends on brand. Yes, some of the cheap brass swivels are junk.

I never have had a swivel failure. Usually mainline failures.
