Trying to decide between blades or talons, dont know if power pole is to high for my garage door so my question is when you lower blades can you stop them at any height or do they only stop when they hit a surface?

You can lower them to any height. I just get close to garage let them down a little then put them up when clear the door. Power pole service department is one of easiest and customer oriented companies I have ever dealt with. Best investment I have made for my boat
