How was the fishing on TB yesterday ?
I fished in Housen and only caught one fish......7am--Noon.
There were 20 or so boats fishing within 200 yards of me, of and on, and saw no fish caught.
when leaving fin and feather I did see a gentleman putting a 8.44 Ms Piggy back in his live well to take back out and release, man she was short and fat,,,,,,,kinda like my old girl friend.
I just am curious if it is me and I need to sell my boat and take up knitting or what.
any good fish stories from TB for Saturday 2-6 ???

We fished similar area. Had 6 keepers on the day, 3 short fish and I lost 2. Most of ours came on c-rig 6-12' deep, 1 was 20'. Only had 11lbs though. Saw a nice one caught pitching a jig in the same area we were fishing. Coach

Typical for this time of year on Toledo....day to day you never know...might catch a giant or zero. One time in February a buddy and I caught 5 or 6 small bass and when we came in two men had an ice chest with 10 bass 3-5 lbs each. All caught on traps in 6-8 ft off a point near a flat. Very humbling sport for sure!

I fished Lowe's and a few cuts around Palo Gaucho and caught 4 all day lost 2 at the boat. Largest one was maybe 4#

You should have stayed home Nut, we caught about 10 on Athens Sat. In about 5 hrs. Nothing huge but males were on the secondary points in 3 ft or less. I think they will move up and start working as soon as the water warms just a little more. We found some 54deg water. I hope to get over to TBend this spring with the boat in tow, my wife is from Many.

Go north on texas side we been killing numbers up there but 5 pounds is the biggest.

Nut it was tuff alot of people not catching anything or dinks. I think you are just trying to be NICE to me,,,,,, according to the 63 teams that fished Media it looked pretty easy. Only 6 teams with zero fish,,,,,, 8 teams with over 18 pounds,,,,,, better results than normal. I just suck on deep East Texas lakes.

6 zeroed but I know at least 2 teams that turned theirs back because they had small sack and were only using it to prefish for champs. Wish I knew where to catch some quality fish. Coach
