I am very happy with my XI5. I had a terrova on my other boat and was happy with it too, but I love how the XI5 holds on spot-lock. I also like being able to move 5, 10, 15 feet left, right, forward, back with the push of a button. I too like to fish a brush pile every now and then and gladly sacrifice the speed for a better spot lock.
I like the i pilot. dont get me wrong it is great, I want more power sometimes and may want the xi5 for crappie. who knows where to get the best deal on the xi5? 60 inch shaft 24 volt saltwater model is what I am looking for for the motorguide
