Was thinking about hitting the barge at bardwell in the morning. Anyone doing anything out there?

I have been out there a few times in the last 10 days, I have taken something home each time. With that said I have seen some with empty stringers an a couple of master fisherman with a stringer full. For me it felt like a tough bite each day. Last Tuesday Cajun Cricket was the ticket I was also catching on live Minnows, an yesterday Black Gum was by far my best an minnows did nothing. The dam is now off so fishing should only get better.IMO I'm going back Monday or Tuesday next week.

It's been hit or miss all week, I went Tuesday and Wednesday... Slow slow slow. I called out there today's they told me it was really slow. The owners are very honest people

Aweful for us today at the bridge. She said it's been up and down all week so maybe tomorrow will be better. Water was 51 pretty much all day everywhere we went.
