Do you have to mount the speaker tho the TM? Will it work mounted under the jack plate? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I use a tactile transducer called a butt kicker. Mine is epoxied to the inside of the hull, similar to my hull transducer for my DI. It essentially makes my entire hull a speaker. Very stealthy and one less thing mounted on an appendage of my boat to break. Haha

Do you need an amp to drive it? Or do you do it direct with the hydro wave output?

Direct is fine. It wires up just like a speaker.

Not sure why you would want it mounted by the jack plate but I think it could be mounted any where honestly.
