Anyone been to paint rock lately? Thinking of taking the yak Sunday. Try for crappie sand bass or strikers. Any info would be appreciated as I haven't fished the area much only the park to paint rock.

Caught sandies at Bee Mountain last Saturday slow rolling RSR Lures Glitter Shad and white tail spinner of the bottom. Caught 24 in all. Went up past the island but never saw much up that far yet.

Caught about 30 Monday at painted Rock but they were still the small one. Everyone said I should have been there yesterday. They were caught on medium sized crank baits.

Any of yall ever catch a bunch of bass around Hamm this time a year with the Whites?

Caught some small sand bass and two magnum sand bass. One striper and a nice blue cat.

Do ya"ll have any luck with crappie while you're fishing at Ham Creek?

Caught a few slabs just up from Hamm while fishing for whites

Can do good on crappie around the painted rocks and the big rocks by the deep hole around the Bee Mtn. area

Slow day. Two keeper sandbass and a bunch of small ones. Caught four crappie only one being a keeper

Sorry for the late update. I went Thursday 11-Feb and we had 16 keeper sand bass and 1 big ole slab crappie. Had to catch about 4 sand bass to get a keeper and 8 crappie to get the 1 keeper.
