I tried to search, but couldn't find anything. Just curious how the HUK rain gear holds up. Nothing worse than leaking bibs, but not looking to spend $$ on Simms.

I bought the new model bibs and foul weather jacket a couple of months ago. I like them so far.

Gore Tex is worth the price of admission. Guranteed to keep you dry. I use Simms and the gear is awesome. Yet plenty of companies feature Gore tex. Simms Contender bibs/jackets are so worth the investment. You get what you pay for.

I like the regular camo better than the kryptek...The regular ones have been discontinued though...

I just got mine and have only fished in the cold and like them. Fishing in the rain will be the test.

Your in luck. I was on FB and they had a sale going on, the bibs were for $199 and the jacket, too. They do have a set of bibs for $324 if you want to spend the money on them. Here is the link: http://www.hukgear.com/collections/new-g...campaign=HoozonHope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck. Thad Rains

Definitely recommend them. Got mine on sale before Christmas at $150 each piece. Would recommend to up size as well. I like to layer and with the fleece underneath they were snug

I like to layer and with the fleece underneath they were snug FYI the old camo ones ran small. The new kryptek series is re-seized and runs truer. I've got a brand new XL pair (of the new ones) for sale if anyone is interested.

I have the old HUK rainsuit and its good for spring summer. For cold weather I wear the cabelas guidewear xtreme . It was 50 out and I was sweating.

It was very cold and rainy this weekend on Sandlin. It rained on us for hours on Saturday and Sunday it was 29 degrees. The Huk Kryptek suit worked fantastically. It completely keeps wind shear off of you travelling at high speeds and has that great little zipper to take a whiz. It kept me completely dry save a little moisture at my wrists where the suit ends and my thermals were wicking up some of the moisture. It does have straps that I could have cinched down more but it wasn't enough to matter.
Top notch foul weather gear.

I have the old jacket in 2xl and it was tight, I wear xl normally. First set of new style bibs in 2xl was way big, exchanged for xl and they were a bit snug with 2 layers, under armor long johns and a thick hoodie! Kept me dry in the rain and are pretty wind proof.
