I've got one HIO and one DD, I'll take the DD in a heartbeat.

Much rather have a DD than a hole in one. I have a few of both but hands down a different feeling catching a DD.

I would take the double digit. I have a 9-14 and no hole in one. I did have a double eagle on a par 5 once that was pretty cool.

For sure dd I've had a hole in one on a par 3 it was cool and had a witness. I've never caught a dd. I caught a 9.45 at Monticello during a tournament. The feeling was undescribeable. (Close but no dd)

I have come close to both, but achieved neither. So I will take whichever one I am blessed to experience, if it happens. If I had a choice, I would probably take the DD, that feeling never goes away when you catch a big fish. I have a couple musky over 50 inches and I can still replay those catches in my head as if it happened yesterday. I would imagine a DD is the same way.

One hole in one, three DD's. I'll take another DD any day.

4 hole in ones, 3 Double Eagles, 2 DD Bass, and one 190 lb Halibut. I cannot say any were more exciting than the others, just great to be able to experience them all. I will say that having my father witness me hole out, make a double eagle, catch a 12.75# bass, and reel in the the halibut, was more special to me than the actual events themselves. Memories for a lifetime.

I am both a fisherman and golfer. I golf once a week and if I'm lucky get to fish 1-2 times a month. I was fortunate enough to get a DD on Falcon a few years back. I have been golfing by whole life and still don't have a Hole in one.
I think both are equally challenging however there are places that you can pay big $ and get your DD. I don't believe that it is as special that way but can be done.
No matter how much money you pay you can't buy that Hole in one.

I have caught a DD, but ZERO hole in ones (had a few within inches over the years).... and I'd still go with the DD.

I have multiple aces and each has a story attached that makes it memorable. That being said, a double digit will always be preferred by me. I have one 9.6 from falcon, but have yet to hit DD
