Pecan Lodge in Deep Ellum. Some folks think it is overrated but I disagree. Especially on the ribs. They rock.

BIG ALS SMOKEHOUSE BBQ serves big beef ribs and they are very good. They are on Inwood Rd. just west of Lemmom Ave. As a matter of fact, all their menu items are very tasty.

BIG ALS SMOKEHOUSE BBQ serves big beef ribs and they are very good. They are on Inwood Rd. just west of Lemmom Ave. As a matter of fact, all their menu items are very tasty. +1 on Big Al's beef ribs, I've been eating them for 20 years.

Pecan Lodge in Deep Ellum. Some folks think it is overrated but I disagree. Especially on the ribs. They rock. Totally agree. I love their brisket and burnt ends, but their ribs are even better. I have eaten ribs all over Texas, the Carolinas, St. Louis, etc., and I have never had a better pork rib than I have had at Pecan Lodge. They are constantly amazing.

Was in Dallas and had the best Beef ribs at Lakewood smokehouse off Abrams and La vista. Order is I rib or 2 cut in half. Ordered side of black peppered sausage. Ate it hands on was best and tenderest ribs i had anywhere. I went back two days later and had another order this time with side to turkey. Ribs were just as good and turkey was real good also. The tea was good and service was tremendous.

I used to go there every once in a while and get a stuffed baked potato and they were HUGE. That was even when they were a little farther up the street at Inwood and Cedar Springs before they moved to Lemmon / Inwood.

Went there right after they opened and posted about their burnt ends, i have been back and tried the beef ribs at 28 bucks I should have asked for a refund. HEAVY smoke and 70 percent fat. I had a headache by the time I finished one, took the rest home and feed the dog.
