Put in at Hamm Creek then went down river to first deep hole and got a couple whites. They were fat but all we could get so went upriver to Paint Rock and landed five nice stripes and quite a few more plump sandies and a good size crappie. Next move was to Bee Mountain hole where we didn't have much luck but there was a lot of crappie guys there so went further up to Spring Creek and managed a couple more stripes. Contemplated going onto the island but it was getting late so maybe next time we'll go there first but all in all it was a great day on the river.
Most were caught on a white bomber slab but chartreuse worked as well.
