I am like so many others still chasing my DD... 9lbs even is my PB but I keep hoping for better! I did fish the day before Thanksgiving this year with my siblings and my sister broke my heart with a 11lb 12oz Beauty!! I think I was more freaked out than her when we saw it boat side!! ...

jwtxfishhook Angler J Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 484	I caught my one and only DD at Joe Pool a few years ago in March...same exact story, except a friend and I went early fished several hours with with no bites whatsoever.. then I went to the community point across from Lynn Creek, black and blue jig in 20' of water.. it felt heavy, set the hook, it came up to the top.. and shocked the ____ out of me! Was 11.6 I took to Lynn Creek Marina for them to weigh. It is the only one for me I haven't even caught any 7 lbs or bigger.. many 6 and under. Great fish!
