I also had good success with the 250 MD last year. It has a wiggle similar to a Norman Deep Little N, which is the only crankbait I'll throw until about March. I'm usually only able to get the Deep Little N to about 10 ft on 12 lb fluoro. The 250 MD, with similar action, will get down to around 12 ft with the same action and about the same size so I plan to use both quite a bit this spring. When the water warms up, I switch to varieties with wider, more aggressive wobbles like the Strike King 5's and 6's and the Bomber Fat Free shads.

#1. Rick Clunn RC Freak by Lucky Strike. I like the 2.5 inch series 2 that dives to 13ft in copper perch or spotted shad.

Make your wife mad? That ought to be the easy part.

Hey josh you have had some great responses on a bunch of good mid divers. I have a few options for you in that depth range I'll make them whatever color you want. One is my deep 10 nice size body little larger than a 1.5 has weight transfer and cast great. Will get you in the 10-12ft range has a tight action that has been really productive in the colder water. I might even have a few colors you like smile
