I feel that if someone says they have good costomer service then it should not take a week to answer someones questions. I don't call that good service.

Did you pick up the phone and actually call someone? Or just an email and hope they received it? believe it or not, not all emails make it to the right receptacle properly.

crm. i understand your frustration in getting in touch with john re: your unit. first of all, using the customer service contact on the website doesn't route emails directly to him. they're still fine tuning the website since being acquired by th marine. he's posted his personal information numerous times on the forum and it's included below. don't hesitate to contact him directly.
his info is:

Thank you guys for standing up for me and all the comments. This gentleman is going to stay mad and I understand that but I can't help everyone and he posted on the 14th here on the TFF and last night when I got to my hotel is when I went to reply. He also thinks that I am a previous employee and that in the striper section they are saying the things about me but they are not, that was before my time with HydroWave. This is one of the times where myself and HydroWave will just move on and go to the next issue at hand and continue working to bring a better product to you. Everyone has their own opinion of HydroWave and myself and that's ok and I can live with that. Everyone has my personal information and if you need anything at all please don't hesitate to get with me since I am not on here all the time and that is why I posted it. Thanks again guys.

Have only fished on one boat that had one. We were on our 4th visit to a spot that we caught 1-2 culls every time we went that day. Last trip we threw and threw with no bites, then I saw the guy reach down like he was messing with depth finder. We both hooked up next cast, he told me he had changed the setting on the hydrowave when he knelt down. Coincidence, maybe but I still don't have one. Saving up aluminum can money for one though!!

The only lake I have seen it work is squaw creek and that is the only lake I have noticed a difference.

I only had email communication with John Braig...and lemme tell you...even though we only communicated by email...that guy cares about Hydrowave and their products and most importantly, he cared about ME. I'm so glad I have it back I'm gonna brave the sub freezing weather and fish today...and you can bet, my Hydrowave will be on and running...not in my storage like others are mentioning.

I'll have one in action this Saturday at Bass Champs Falcon. I'll let you know what I think "after" the tournament.
I know what I can do on Falcon w/o a Hydowave,,,,, so there will be a good comparison. My son fished Falcon as a Veteran during Billy Tompkins Vet outing Dec 5th & he fished with a real good guy named Wes who had one on his boat. Wes gave my son the tutorial and the "whys" about having one and he is sold after seeing the unit working.

They are only saying junk in the striper section because they are pushing their buddy's product to their peers. It's very transparent what they are doing. No biggie, nobody needs that kind of business.

The Hydrowave certainly has its place... first time I was in a boat with one I became a believer. We were sharing a point with another boat, they were hammering the fish on the other side. 15 minutes after we pulled up and turned on the Hydrowave the school moved from the other side of the point to our boat. We sat there and caught 50 + fish in 2 hours while the guys on the other side watched only catching one every now and then.

Ronnie, you hit the nail on the head. I thought the striper version of the Hydrowave was slapping a rod on the surface of the water? roflmao

I had the rattle trap addition( screw came loose). Thought I would stop by there, since I was close by and get it fixed. Big John replaced the unit no question asked. Great guy, great customer service.

I've caught fish with it on and with it off. I've got skunked with it on and off so I can't say it works or doesn't work. I do know that I've never had bait running to my boat with it on or circling my boat. I use if more to cover up the noise of the trolling motor. If you think it works then it gives you confidence. For me it is a tool nothing magic about it.
