What are the advantages of tying a clouser on a 90 degree jig hook compared to a straight hook ???? Steve-stabgnid

What are the advantages of tying a clouser on a 90 degree jig hook compared to a straight hook ???? Steve-stabgnid I don't use 90 degree hooks, but I do like using 60 degree hooks. They swim better than 90 degree hooks and I can bounce them through the rocks in Texoma with fewer snags than straight hooks. George got me hooked on using them.

Happy Valentine's Day! Hook: Partridge Double Salmon size 2 Body: Silver Tinsel Tag and Rib: Holographic Red Tinsel Throat: Red Schlappen Wing: Red Squirrel Tail (First time Tying with a double hook, judging where to tie the head is a challenge with these things!)

I tied these for my 3wt, been catching bass the last two weeks up to 5 lbs on that little rod.

They are just ones I made for the llano River. That gray crawfish looking one has been really good lately. Or oarnge poppers.

All these are for my local bays and marshes. Shrimp has been a great producer of reds, trout and flounder. Baitfish pattern is a good open water option for speckled trout. The other two work great up shallow for reds, drum, etc

No pics but I tied some guber bugs, a ghost minnow jig, and a few zonkers while at work. What can I say, I was bored.
I'm on other forums that deal with the old turbo powered Buicks.;)
