We had a 2 of us championship there in 2013. I searched and searched For cabins or lakeside houses and had no luck. There were many couples including us that ended up staying at super 8 hotel in temple off the interstate. There was adequate boat parking on one whole side of the hotel and the rooms were clean and reasonable. Also was a Mexican food restaurant next door. Hope this helps.

I think there are some cabins on 2305. They are about a couple miles from Temple Lake Park and Arrow head point. I believe they are called Cox Hollow Cabins. When are you needing the cabin?

Holiday Inn Express, I 35 exit 299 across the street from Marine Outlet. Good food within walking distance of hotel. 20 min. from Temple Lake Park ramp.

Sounds like I need to start renting out the spare bedroom. 2 minutes from Rogers and 10 minutes from Temple Lake Park. I live on the lake but do not know of any cabins. All the motels are in the area of I 35 or Loop 363. several in the area of Scott and White Hospital. I would not consider any of them boater friendly even though they are nice motels several are new. There is one on the West side of I 35 on service road just South of Nugent that has outside access. Ill try to get the name and get back.

Try one of these. Americas Best Value, Econo Lodge, Days Inn. I think they are all drive up walk ups.

Lot of the roads are a mess in Temple with all the contraction. Might goggle the hotel address and see what the roads look like.

Roads around the 3 motels I suggested are in the construction zone. However all 3 have easy access to Hwy 36 (Airport Rd) or West Adams (Lake Rd). West Adams dead ends at Temple Lake Park. Not sure which park is being used for the tournament. Hwy 36 has easy access to Hwy 317 which can get you to all of the ramps except Cedar Ridge, it (Hwy 36) also goes out to Cedar Ridge Park. None of the better motels in the area have rooms that open to the outside. There are also camping opportunities convenient to most ramps.
