My son wants to go catch some catfish but we haven't had any luck. We fish Benbrook all the time but can't figure them out. Where is a good spot on lakes not to far from Fort Worth where I can put him on some decent cats. We have a boat so can be out on the water or where ever. Any tips or info will help. Thanks guys.

I'd take him to Squaw Creek, throw you some soured Wheat out in about 25FOW and drop some Mr. Whiskers Cheese bait down and wait about 20 minutes. They will come.

Granbury near the loading dock of the marina next to the dam (launch from decordova park and head tot he other side of the lake to pecan plantation marina). Can't say anything about the winter but used to go in the summer and didn't have a day were we caught less than 50 channel cats. Was always a mix of small to medium. Would probably find some crappie in the boat docks too
