I have had 10 pms people asking me if I am directing this trail. The answer is no, I might show up to fish a few, but I don't have time to do a trail right now....maybe later but not now.

Here are the tentative rules I will be adding a few more if needed after speaking to the other directors thanks fellas
2016 Texas Catfish Trail Tournament Rules
The basis for the TCT is to bring anglers together for fun comradery and to have the opportunity to win some really outstanding prizes. With that being said the rules are pretty straight forward and there are no exceptions you break a rule and get caught your disqualified from any and all future events hosted by the TCT. This is a rod and reel only tournament, no jug lines, trot lines, yoyos, noodling, electrofishing or any other methods will be allowed All live and artificial baits may be used as long as it meets Texas Parks and Wildlife regulations. There may be a maximum of 3 members per team regardless of age The lake will be off limits from 8pm the night before until the start of the tournament NO EXCEPTIONS Slot lakes will work on a 2 man limit All fish must be caught during official tournament hours No fishing within 100yds of any marina Bank and kayak anglers must be within 150ft of each other at all times this is on a straight line not walking distance Life jackets must be worn while the big motor is running and the entire time if fishing from a kayak No fishing within 150ft of another boat already anchored up Maximum of 10 rods in the water, no maximum on total number of rods in the boat/truck/kayaks There will be a 5 fish limit all fish must exceed 14inches in length to be weighed in, the official measuring device of TCT is the Check-it-stick If something happens and your fish does not measure on the tournament board but you can prove that it measures on your own board the fish will be weighed in No more than 5 fish can be brought to the weigh inn, if you bring more than 5 fish to the weigh inn your largest fish will be culled until youre down to your 5 fish limit. Anglers may not have more than 5 fish in the live well at any time, The only exception to this rule will be when in the process of culling to get the best limit of 5 Dead fish will not be weighed Absolutely no fishing baited holes NO EXCEPTIONS Guides can fish any tournament provided they have not guided on the tournament lake within the past 15 days regardless of species All decisions made by the tournament director are final No alcoholic beverages allowed until after completion of the weigh inn and polygraph tests Every angler is subject to a polygraph, failure to take or pass a polygraph will result in a disqualification Ties will be broken as follows, big fish breaks the tie, if tie still exist total number of fish weighed will be used, if tie still exists we will use a coin flip or split prizes equally anglers decision All protests must be made within 15 minutes of the end of the weigh inn, this must be done in writing
