 Anyone else hear about the new potential State record Spot?

Seems Josh Helmstettler caught a couple of NICE ones. I have a photo of 3 spots that are close to 15 lbs. Big fish was 6.02 lbs. I do not know if he is certifying it or what, but THAT is a nice stringer of spots. OH, it came on Lake Alan Henry. Don't know if Josh comes on here, or not, but if so, I would like to hear some details on it. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck. There, corrected the spelling of his last name. Sorry about that.

That spot looks like it has a beer belly! lol sure would love to catch one that big because all the little 1-2lbers I have caught put up a great fight

Biggest spot I have caught was a 3.61 out of Lake Lewisville over 20 years ago on a Friday Night T. That put up a great fight. Biggest I have caught out of AH is 2-11, but still a great fight. I can only imagine what a 5+ lber would feel like.

Some nice pics on Facebook. Great fish. I caught this one last fall on AH. 20 inches and 4 lbs. fought like a freight train.

Just curious, but is this a spot? I caught her earlier today and just assumed LMB, but after looking at the pics on this post, she really resembles a spot?
