I can build the living rubber yellow skirts. Just let me know and shoot me a picture. I will match what you need.

Darn it, the secrets out. I have been taking h&h yellow skirts and using them on good spinnerbaits for years. The darker the yellow the better. I don't know why the BP and Academy don't sell yellow skirts anymore. What they call yellow is not yellow.

My skirts are hand dyed to get the yellow you want. This is the yellow that has produced many wins for me and a couple of other tournament fisherman. These are the same skirts that I put on the Kreuger Golden Boys back in the day. http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/11031570/11031570

Thanks Terry. This color will only come out in this old, old material that I have called Living Rubber Silk which is no longer made. I can make them just short of being brown. My green ones are unbelievable also and have caught a ton of fish.

Hi, Mr. Harper, I have a interesting story to tell you about that color of skirt. In March 1994 me and my brother in law were fishing the flats off the main channel one afternoon at Choke Canyon just before you go under the 99 bridge. The lake was full back then and full of grass. You could go a half mile or more from the main channel back through the mesquite trees. As we were fishing another boat pulled in about 200 yards ahead of us and started fishing toward us. We had no idea who it was at the time. We were catching fish after fish along the grass lines. The other boat could see us catching ten to there one fish. After about 15 minutes we finally could see who it was, Elroy Kreuger and Keith Warren. Keith could not stand it any longer and ask what are you throwing. I was reluctant to give up the secret bait but finally did. It was a solid chartreuse Mann's baby one minus. I pitched it in there boat and the look on there face was priceless. All I know is in 1995 when we went back those spinner baits in the picture were all over his store. I assumed that color skirt came from that afternoon we talked to them. I never ask Elroy about it. What a great story. Thanks for sharing. Mr. Kreuger was making those yellow BOY Skirts way before 1994. I have seen as many as 5 spinner baits tied on in his boat all with different blade combinations; but every one of them had the Yellow Boy Skirts. These that I make are the exact ones except in Living Rubber Silk. He was very pleased with the two spinner baits that I built for him during that tournamant on Amistad and weighed in the big fish. I took 6 place with over 300 boats using the Indiana bladed one. I don't know which one he caught the big fish on but I have won many tournaments on both.
He is dearly missed as a fishing competitor and I truly hope he is in a better place catching monster Bass every day.
