Here is a great example of the difference in these two swim jigs. Living Rubber on the left and Silicone on the Right. Both skirts on the bottom are Silicone. They just don't flair out like living rubber.

Building Process:

Living Rubber Tabs Are Cut



Select 3 half tabs to build the skirt (Coleslaw)



Tabs go in Extract bath



Tabs are towel dried, banded and strands seperated with a sharp pointed tool



Skirt installed, hand tied with copper wire then band is removed



The finished product - has the action and smells great; to the Bass that is.

Scent used on the skirts. I want all my baits leaving a trail of scent in the water.
- Spinner Bait Skirts get the Minnow Extract.
- Jig Skirts go into the Crayfish bath.

Get the big spray bottle to spray down you skirts every hour or so while fishing. They come with two free oz. of extract.
