Can't resist it, gonna head out to either the penthouse or B Lake after work(after 10). Before the front gets here hopefully. There should be a few crappie willing to come out and play with me.

Caught 35 crappie last night at the penthouse in little less than an hour starting at 10:20 pm. Red/chartreuse hollow body tube, 1/32nd. oz. jig head. Was joined by Fishbonz, and he commenced to put a hurt on the crappie, and one Very Nice black bass. We had a blast.

I went undercover yesterday. Fished next to a bunch of TFF' ers and yall never knew I was there. Lol. Pulled a limit out quick and left. Fish were 6 ft deep near structure but would only bite the jig at 2.5 ft deep. You could see them come up and hit the jig. Pretty cool.
They would not hit an UNPAINTED JIG HEAD. it had to be plaid. ( Rudy)

First timers creek question here.
I fished two different creeks yesterday morning from a boat.
One muddy and barely any current, the other very clear and decently flowing water.
Fished every bit of structure that i could and never caught a thing. This went on for 4 hours, ugh!
Are you guys fishing moving water at all? I want suprised to not catch anything in the muddy creek as the jig disappeared after dropping it two inches down.
I was very suprised to not catch a sandbass, crappie or bass in the other. The non muddy creek had tons of structure.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

T-fly, your fish need counseling. It is sacriligious not bite an unpainted jig head! But glad you limited out.

cover. Max of 5ft. of water. Not structure, cover. In this particular situation, there is a significant difference.
